Cardiology has always been my first love right from med school, with residency, I now see how tough it is to get a spot for fellowship & how busy it can be which sadly would not work so well for me, I have tried to think of other possible sub-specialities I could specialize in but only end up feeling so unfulfilled. I wonder if there are fields in cards that are more flexible with working hours, I have heard you can do what ever you want & choose what work style you want depnding on where you work, but I wonder how easy it is to get these jobs.
I know very liitle about EPS & was wondering if anyone in EPS could please shed some light on what it involves as per work time, what do they do??? ICD placements??? surgery or checks pls forgive my being so clueless, i would also like to know what the pay is like and how copetitive it is too.
