So, in my PS, I have been focusing on equal access to healthcare. I wrote my experience about being really poor and from a Indian village without a physician, and seen my family members struggle due to not being able to afford medical supplies. Immigrating to America, I saw all these differences of ambulances coming to your home in minutes.
I seen posts mention that you should not write you want to serve underserved populations, if you have not done too much in that area.
My problem is I want to state that I want to work in villages like these around the world, would that be a problem? I would like to state that I want to work in rural areas in America as well. But, I do not want to go into primary care, most likely endocrinology.
I have been involved in one EC with a nonprofit that is related to advocating for better access to insulin and supplies. It will amount to hundred hours.
