Currently a family medicine resident wanting to become a hospitalist. What is the internal medicine equivalent of Family medicine's AAFP (American Academy of Family Physician). It has a few articles released bimonthly to keep uptodate on knowledge

ABIM is the accrediting body. Will be of no value to you, you can't get ABIM certification without an IM residency.

ACP represents mostly academic physicians.

Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM) is the educational group for hospitalists. They have multiple publications (The Hospitalist being one of the main ones) and run regular educational meetings.

Annals of internal medicine is probably the equivalent publication. They also have an annals of hospitalists. I believe they are publications by the ACP

Wasn't looking to get board certified. Just want to keep my knowledge uptodate

I would disagree that ACP represents academic physicians, in the state (several southern states) chapter meetings I have been to, it appears to represent all general internists
That's fair. I was trying to differentiate the AMA from ACP. But I guess it's more accurate to say that ACP is an Internal Medicine focused group. And their meetings are quite good.
