ERAS Personal Statement appears like a wall of text

Hello:

I have uploaded my personal statement using the font, size, and margins recommended by another individual in one of the PS threads.

However, what was a neat one page carefully indented essay has now become a wall of text. (And we all know how walls of text on a computer screen are to the eyes.. hence my paragraph structure of online communication)

Should I try to edit this myself on the ERAS portal? Or will the PDs get a cleaned up version of it?

Paste it into notepad to make sure there isn't any secret Microsoft Word formatting.

Then, remove any "tabs" and indent by using 5 spaces or so.

If you have any room left, feel free to add a free line between paragraphs.

However, will there be a way if I can tell if this is one page or if it encroaches into two pages?

I cannot tell this when I press "Print PS"

(or is this just totally irrelevant because the PD will just read off of a screen?)
