1. How much time and effort do we need to put into a description of work or volunteer expeirence?

2. If the answer is not one that needs a description, what do you say about why you left your volunteer expeirence or work expeirence? Is saying "medical school" acceptable?

Thanks for your help

1. I put 2 to 3 sentences for each --- definitely below the character limit

2. I'm leaving that part blank

Many people say "attending medical school" as a reason for leaving.

Is it necessary to put average hours/week on every experience....

For some of my volunteer activities, I did them for a few years... but only every 1-2 months. So I don't want to put 6 hrs/ week and make them think I was doing it every week of the year.

I am confused about that too. I just put the hours per week and tried to explain that it was only for that certain month or time period in the the comment box. Speaking of the comment box, are you using full sentences and do they all start with "I"? I would like to start sentences with action words but it is hard to do without an "I" at the beginning.

Initially i started with action words, as I had simply cut and paste from my cv, but I later changed it to narrative form. Though still not close to the character limit in most cases, I didn't want to give the appearance that I completely blew it off either.
Hey, are you all putting your interest group participation/officer positions in those spots also? I figured that's where they go, but I'm not sure (esp. with that whole hours worked thing). How do you quantify how many active hours you spent as a club officer? 🙄
