no they are double layered cells

inner layer - cytotrophoblast
outer layer - syncytiotropholast
 
Depends on what stage you're talking about. In general it's a single layer, but it later develops into the two layers you mention.

It is single layer for only first 6-7 days of implantation. After that it divides and forms double layer. I think the statement is true.
 
The statement can't be true if it's single layer for any non-transient amount of time. I'm on to other things.
 
Before you go dissing destroyer- read your bio book. Trophoblast is a double layer. Wiki also explains it very well.
Trophoblast is the outer supefficail layers that form the blastocysts

Dude why diss the best study tool out there. The purpose of destroyer is to learn the material not test you. If you feel that the question could be worded a drop better ok but whasts the difference you get the point. Be greatful for the destroyer dont diss it.
