ERROR on APPIC cover letter -- what to do?!

ACK! I just realized I made the stupidest error ever -- ONE of the places in which I list the site name in my cover letter was the wrong site name. For all remaining places in the cover letter in which I reference the site, it was correct.

Should I fix it, acknowledge the error and send to the TD? Or hope they don't see it? HELP! Kicking myself ...

Wow, I'm shocked to hear that this isn't a deal-breaker ("Yeah, that one where they couldn't even get our site name correct? Put that in the big NO pile ..." ), but very relieved. Thanks to all for responding.

Reviewers realize that it's a stressful time for applicants, and that people are juggling letters and materials for multiple sites. Mistakes happen. As others have said, with it only being the one mistake, I wouldn't worry about it.

Don't sweat it at all. We are all human. We all make mistakes. This is a common one. I have seen it before and will see it again. Unless it's ethical or competence related mistakes like these really have no impact on anything at all the sites I have been at.
