This is really more venting than anything, but advice would be greatly appreciated. I submitted my TMDSAS app today and tonight I went there to copy/paste my essay to my AADSAS app and when I went through it to correct the formatting I found 4 places where I didn't catch a punctuation snaffoo (apostrophe) due to copy/pasting from Word. I read that thing so many times I was cross-eyed and just missed it. Do you recommend requesting a correction? That means 1) at least a 2 week delay in processing 2) they send the schools a copy of your request email. Is it worth fixing? Will they think I'm irresponsible for not fixing it? Or irresponsible for sending it in with errors and having to fix it? I'm sure punctuation will not keep me from getting an interview. Right? Please tell me I'm right.

Just tell them your an aggie.

What exactly was the error? Does it change the meaning of the sentence or what you wrote?

Due to the fact that I couldn't sleep last night, I emailed TMDSAS to fix the errors. It's more important that my essay be quality than super early. When I woke up at 9:00 they had already reopened that section for me to fix it and I can resubmit today! I really was more worried about it delaying my application, but it really won't affect it at all. It didn't change the meaning...just things like "patient s" instead of "patient's". But there were five errors, and being the perfectionist that I am, I couldn't live with it. Thanks for your responses, guys! I think I made the right decision. Aggie that I am

Once again, being an Aggie can get you places in life, even past errors on your personal statement. 😉
