Interesting choice of grammar 👍
Interesting choice of grammar 👍
A more proper construction for that sentence would be: Do students with E's D's & C's in their freshmen year have a chance(considering they have 3 more years to go)?
Guys, lay off the OP. English is not everyone's primary language. His posts are always polite.

what year are u and when are u applyin bro? i have a mirror image sort of to youShowing an upward trend is important. Those grades can be brutal to recover from. Keep in mind that I didn't decide to go premed till I was roughly a senior, as a result my grades weren't reflective of my true abilities since I didn't have goals. It took me a long time to crack 3.0....Junior year. Now I get All As with a few B+'s sprinkled in, but I have so many credit hours and my gpa was so bad freshman year that I still only have a 3.2. With me it wasn't about study habits. One grade was because I got REAL sick during the final and they wouldn't let me in to finish it since I could be "cheating". I got a 30% on the final... The rest was SEVERE depression. Diagnosed, but not something I bring up much. I don't intend to use it as an excuse either...too much stigma involved. Just try to get your grades up and work away. My dad had a D- in calculus. He went on to be AOA and top of his class in medical school...bad stuff happens sometimes.
F = FailThere are some schools on the East Coast that use grades A-E. If you really think about it, there isn't that much logic in skipping "E". A, B, C, and D aren't the first letters of what they stand for.
What makes it really confusing is that there are elementary schools that use "E" for Excellent, "G" for Good, "I" for Improving, and "N" for Needs Improving.
Ah, letter grades.😕
