Hey, I was wondering if there were guidelines for the essay part and personal statement portion

"What is professionalism in the context of being a student in a doctor of physical therapist degree program?"

Does anyone know up to how many words it could be?

p.s. - I know the prompt changes every year

4,500 characters (including spaces); one page

Personal statement as well?

I’m not quite sure what you mean with your last comment but there is only one personal statement for PTCAS which is up to 4,500 characters including spaces. If the schools have individual essays then you can also only write up to 4,500 ,characters.

Just so you know, I believe the prompt this year (2018-2019 cycle) is:

"Describe a meaningful experience in your life. Reflect on how that experience influenced your personal growth, such as your attitudes or perceptions. (4500 characters)"
