That is an interesting question. I am not Asian, but I noticed a huge difference in the amount of Asian applicants vs. accepted Asian applicants at some schools according to the ADEA stat book. This could be because many of these people just sent apps to every school and accepted elsewhere, but it seems odd when a school gets 20-1 Asian vs other ethnicity apps and only takes 8 people. Right? I wish I had the money to apply twice, same apps, and different ethnicity… just to see if it makes a difference.

Either way, good luck.

It would be interesting to see who was interviewed, accepted, number of schools accepted to for all ethnic and gender groups. You can only go to one school. I was under the impression the school statistics only track the number of people who accept an admissions offers. Another thing that might skew statistics is state residency. If Kentucky did not have a large Asian population then the 20:1 Asian applicants might largely be competing for the comparitively small out of states slots. If this were true then eight acceptances for Asians could be the bulk of all out of state acceptances.
