I interviewed on October 14th. I, obviously, applied early decision. There were only about 15 or so interviewees there. Most were from Tennessee or the nearby area with one or two being far away (one Texas and one South Carolina). How was your interview?

I was sheduled to attend the 12-16 interview, but I have too many finals. I am torn about going to ETSU. I have already been accepted to UT memphis, but I really love the mountains. It's just soo pricey. Anyhow, I am going to the interview in January now. Anyone have any input? Advice on the interview?

I'm thinking the same thing about ETSU. Love the school, love the mountains, but the tuition is steep. I'm in at ETSU and have an interview for UT in January. I'm worried about Memphis because I've heard the city is more than a little scary.

The interview at ETSU is pretty low stress. This is obvious but have a really good answer for why you want to come to ETSU specifically. Also, make sure to wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather because you'll walk outside to tour another building.

I've got some decisions to make I guess. Memphis is not really that bad, or at least thats the impression I got. I had never been there until my interview and I live in Tennessee! The area that the campus is in seems really nice, and it is right next to a pretty park. It is a really nice school, and one of the best in the nation actually. Their interview was also very low stress. You simply go in a room and have a conversation for like twenty minutes. Definatley review the questions from this website though.

Has anyone heard back from the 12-16 interview? I thought we were supposed to hear back this week but I still haven't heard anything? 🙁

Has anyone who has been accepted received any information from ETSU? I was not sure if they even sent out confirmation that they received the deposit.

I've been thinking about this too. I did get a confirmation email for my deposit but it seems that they mentioned at the interview that we should get financial aid info sometime this month.

Hmm, I figured they would begin sending out a list of things to get done (vaccinations, financial aid, etc.). I may ask to see if I am actually a part of the class since I did not receive a notice about my deposit. Tahi, let me know when you or anyone else finds out any information.

I talked to Sharon in the admissions office the other day. She said that once accepted, everything goes through the student affairs office. And like you said, it will be mid Spring until they do anything.

I have an interview tomorrow and I am kind of nervous, granted this post is kind of late...lol but from what I can tell and what I have read, I am assuming the interview is very relaxed. This is what I am hoping for.
