EUS or ERCP Training

I have to decide in my first year whether to train in EUS or ERCP during my 3rd year. ERCP seems to be more therapeutic, but EUS has ever-increasing indications. Any suggestions which to choose? 😱

I have to decide in my first year whether to train in EUS or ERCP during my 3rd year. ERCP seems to be more therapeutic, but EUS has ever-increasing indications. Any suggestions which to choose? 😱

ERCP is more in demand in private practice. If you can't do ERCP your partners have to cover for you. That means they take more call. EUS is nice to have but is very poorly reimbursed (currently) for the time it takes. It depends on where you intend to go.
