Even if a school only looks at your best MCAT, will you be asked about your other MCAT scores?

I already have one bad score, a 26. I'm about to take it tomorrow but I am not sure of my chances. I am scoring 30+ on AAMC but 20-25 on BR. If I have just one, I can say I just had an off day. But if I have two bad scores, to me that's a problem. Will schools ask about or see these scores even if they don't technically consider it?

All scores are visible. A series will tell a story. It's a story you don't want to have to explain. Don't take another MCAT until you are confident that you will get your target score.

If multiple re-takes were not a problem, you could just keep re-taking until you got the desired score. In truth, more than two scores begins to tell a different story. One that deters committees from taking the risk.

If you pull off the score you want your second time or even third time around around even If you have to explain it's no big deal. It's just another obstacle you overcame through determination that shaped our path to become a doctor. Don't sweat the small stuff, demolish the mcat and don't worry. Just don't get in the medicine that you'll just do better next time. You want to take the mcat as if it's your only chance.

If you really need to retake, retake though and don't let any amount discouragement abut your chances affect that. You'll find a way to succeed.

Whether they will ask about your old score or not is out of your control at this point. You already have the old score and can't erase it. You should be focused on crushing your current attempt instead of psyching yourself out the night before the test.
