Ever get this wierd or awkward feeling when you withdraw your aplication from a school?

Ya, I totally get that weird feeling. Especially when I have to forfeit an acceptance, this "feeling" is pronounced. Feel guilty !!!

I withdrew my first acceptance a couple weeks ago. I felt really bad because everybody at the school was so nice, but the school just wasn't for me. I honestly never thought that I would have multiple acceptances, so it is odd for me to be turning down schools.

you pay the deposit then withdraw? Is it even stranger? Haha
No, but seriously, what's the proper etiquette for doing that? Letter? Just curious...

I just withdrew an interview acceptance and I've been feeling very guilty about it. This is my second year to apply, so it feels like I'm taking these interviews for granted...even though I already got into the school I love. So it's definitely reassuring to hear other people feel the same way too!

I'm in the same situation with KCOM!

I'd love to feel some of that guilt. 😀 But I have no acceptances. 😡
Good luck and congrats to you all! Don't feel guilty. Just remember, you are helping those of us that have yet to be interviewed/accepted. Think of it as community service

I have already withdrawn my applications from WVSOM, PCOM, UMDNJSOM, and VCOM. I am declining my acceptance at PCSOM and although I am still waiting to hear back from NYCOM, you all can have that spot too if I get it. Hope that all helps! I am going to DCOM! 😀

Totally feeling the guilt, as if I am rejecting someone nice who just proposed to me. I got an offer from a school, and will reject once I work up the nerve and accept that I might have to wait another year to get into a school I will be happy in.

I just composed my withdrawal letter for my seat at KCUMB. I am feeling very weird at the moment. :scared:

On the up side, though, I feel glad that it opens up a chance for someone else who is hoping for a spot there. 👍
