My school gets exam master for us. I like it alright though it has a few flaws. I also use QBank as well. It seems to me that the questions from exam masters are more difficult.

I was looking for someone to comment on this since i was about to purchase it as well. Which one is better usmleworld or exammaster?

has anyone actually bought the exammaster cd? If so was it helpful?

depends what you are trying to do: Here are some of the sites I have been told about:

Kaplan.com -- pretty good questions. Definitely do these. expensive
usmlerx.com -- from First aud authors. contains mostly material from FA
some questions are very awkward
usmleworld.com -- great source for step 2 i have heard. step 1 qbank
similar to step 2
smashstep1.com -- supplemental question source. only 750 questions but
good explanations.
usmleasy.com -- questions tend to be one-line questions. not very reflective
of actual exam apparently.
exammaster.com -- have not heard much about this source...

Old Mil,

I have been using both quite a bit & I echo the thought that ExamMaster appears to be more difficult than Kaplan Qbank.

I think the main reason the ExamMaster seems harder is b/c they are USMLE questions as opposed to the COMLEX Qbank. I've noticed a TON more Cell & Molecular so much so that I bought High Yield Cell & Molecular to help supplement some shortcomings.
