I am wigging. I am worried I don't know all of embryo and ALL of pharm/behavioral minutiae. Is it normal to feel this way before the test????

My biggest fear is getting a simple embryo or micro question and I just don't know it, or can't remember a formula. Someone talk me off this figurative ledge

I've been following this forum for much longer than my account says. Nearly everybody that has posted has gone through this, and their scores always turn out okay. I'm sure you can't help your worrying, but you'll be fine dude.

My exam is tomorrow as well man...Same boat!

I guess, and I have learnt through my preparation, that we can't know everything. I am just trying for now to accept this fact : Its okay to be wrong. Its fine to miss somethings out.

Remember, chance plays a role to, so maybe you might have a chance screw up the easy ones that you dont recall, but you will have an equal chance to score the right ones....

Thats what I am trying to tell myself right now...I know, its killing man!

totally agree. I keep having these moments where I'm fabricating some scenario where they ask me some stupid biostat question and I cant remember whether to use OR or AR or ARR etc etc, or i forget a brachial arch blah

You know the ones I hate the most are the simple Biostat questions. I can nail down the hard ones, but this freaking simple bull**** questions, I always mess them up..!! Drives me nuts mannnnnnnn!

My exam is tomorrow too! Honestly I'm just excited that this will soon be behind us... I'm trying not to think about what I randomly may not know, and trust that all we've fought for is somewhere in our brains. We just have to remain relaxed and well rested so we can pull it out when we see it on our exams! Let's do this!!!! 😎

Good luck man! mine the day after tomorrow... Im surprisingly not wigging out that much. I feel I need to feel a little more stressed... need optimum amount of anxiety

by the way that might be on step... it was on one of my board exams, I think behavioral.

Medium arousal... so like, half a boner?

Well just took it today. I feel quite demoralized and really just looking to pass at this point (i know, what a cliche post-exam post right?). Anyways, felt like it was a good cross bw UWorld and nbme though definitely harder. A lot of wtf questions intermixed with some easy ones. Also a lot of up/down physio questions which I don't like! I'm terrible at biostat/behavioral and had some trouble on a few. Glad it's over but man do I not feel happy with my performance

Looks like you psych'd yourself out. Don't do that next time. Your definitely gonna hit 235+, so I wouldn't worry too much considering that's way above average. Focus on killing your COMLEX (I hate the way they ask questions, it's so vague), and good luck.

haha, I was actually the opposite of psyching myself out the entire day of the test. I was like a freaking self-motiviational speaker all day. From the time I woke up until I finished the test it was like I was having some surreal manic episode all day. Anyways, there were def some easy biostat questions, and then some what looked like easy questions, that I had no idea how to do anything with the numbers they gave me--and believe me, I tried for a good 5 minutes haha

So what kind of questions do you think you missed, or was unsure of? How many do you think you missed?

Umm..couple path slides I really didn't know. A few topics not covered in pathoma/RR. I had a few EM pics where I honestly had not even a clue what I was looking at. They pointed to something and asked what it was made of. I still don't know what it was lol. Most of the biostat was easy -- but a couple I just honestly didn't know how to do. One was a stupid NNT problem that I spent sooo much time on and had to guess.

not sure overall how many I miss. I feel like there were AT LEAST 10 per section. Oh, and anatomy questions really got me. They tested my weaknesses -- pelvic anatomy and random intestinal anastomosis that you never think about since anatomy

Thank you. Don't worry, the ones you missed were probably thrown out.
