Examkracker DAT Biology

I just recently purchased Examkracker MCAT Biology, Chemistry, and Organic Chemistry. For the examkracker Bio i heard conflicting stories between members that purchase it. Some people said that examkracker Mcat bio is a waste of time, and that i should buy Cliff AP BIO(i assume it is this), or schuman. Any advice from people who actually used EXAMkracker MCAT bio?

I searched this forum and many people perfer DAT Destoryer(i was wondering if anyone know the isbn number of the individual books?).

The reason why Cliff AP Bio or Schuman are useful for biology is because they have plant stuff, animals, etc, which Examkrackers doesnt have.
I personally used examkrackers (audio osmosis) and Campbell's biology (I got a 21 on the DAT).

I truly wish I would have bought the DAT Destroyer because everyone here recommends it and probably would have scored much better. So you should definetely get it! You can get it at www.orgoman.com I think.

use AP bio not EK bio... i found EK to be OK, but not terribly helpful. The questions at the end of each section were challenging but the scope of the MCAT is different (i.e. less material) than the DAT. AP bio covers EVERYTHING and has a good number of review questions in many different formats (i.e. multiple choice and free response).

i only used the audio from EK every morning on my way to class. while i took the real test i replayed some of it in my head and it definately helped so i'll recommend it as a supplement but definately not as a main resource.

I can only speak from my own DAT experience, so I don't know how other people's versions are.

I don't think you should neglect plant because it might show up, but it is not heavily emphasized. You might be one question either in the form of plant biology or Plantae taxonomy. Or you might not get any.

I didn't have any plant questions on my DAT version.

Its not just the plant material that is different. Everything about those questions are different from the DAT. The material is different, the way they ask the question is different what they are looking for is different. You are best off with dat specific material such as qvault. If you run out of those questions do achiever or topscore. The idea that if you prepare for the mcat you will crush the dat is flawed.

hey I say you buy AP Cliffs Biology because it is the most helpful. However, I also studied with ExamCrackers Biology because it is very condensed and helpful. I suggest both. Then refreshing with Destroyer. Goodluck!
