to those dentists that have graduated from dental school recently, how much excess student loan money did you guys end up with? did you decide to return the excess money or keep it? thanx.
 
It's a good idea to keep it.

Student loans have lower interest rates than most other loans-- It's "cheap money." So whatever you have left over after dental school, you should keep and use towards surviving or business or any other necessary costs... Or you can do something frivolous and take a vacation with that money, as many NYUCD students have done. 😀

I don't know how big the nose job will be 🙂 , but the PLATO loan (Wells Fargo) and the Bank of America Loan will both give you up to 20,000 during graduate school. Payable after dental school of course. They will even send the check directly to your home.
