I might be missing something but this is contradicting to me: FA (pg 272 bottom right) states that in exercise you have increase in SV and HR -> increased C.O. ---- at the same time it states increased Heart Rate --> decreased Diastole --> decreased EDV --> decreased CO.
How then can you get an increase CO in exercise? Are you simply pumping out a greater volume per each stroke even though less blood is returning to the heart?
