So I just dropped $150 bucks on a stethoscope through allheart.com. They were cheap, it was easy to order, blah, blah, blah. The catch: no confirmation email. I have no idea whether or not the order went through, no idea whether or not they're going to end up charging my debit card and not sending me my merchandise, and since there's no customer service phone number, no way of reaching them. I've emailed them but through reading some reviews online, it's going to be a crapshoot whether or not they actually respond to the email.

I was wondering what everyone else's experiences have been like with this merchant, and if someone actually had a phone number that I could call. Thanks.

I've had good luck with them. I don't have a #, though.

I got an order confirmation from Steve Vaca one day after ordering a lab coat. It came and was beautiful! 😍

Here was the message at the bottom of the email:
If you have any questions regarding your order please write to us at
[email protected] Please include your name, order number, if known, and zip code.

Or I guess you could try the Steve dude at [email protected]. Good Luck!

i've had 100% success through them, no hitches.

for anyone looking for a fun, cheap gift idea - i order scrubs through allheart.com made for my brothers or friends with goofy/satirical embroidery on the breast.

e.g. my brother is a lawyer . . . so i had his name printed followed by J.D., and underneath - where your specialty would go - i had them put "department of fraud and exploitation"

non-meds think scrubs are ultra-cool.

anything you want, they'll embroider it . . .

I bought a pair of scrubs from them and received an e-mail confirmation after the purchase. The scrubs came in the mail w/ an invoice, and everything was just as I had expected it to be. The quality of the scrubs' material is quite nice too. I had no problems with them, and would buy from them again if I needed to.

Can you explain that? I don't get it. 🙁

MtMed is saying that they can personalize your scrubs/lab coats by embroidering them. It costs a small fee to have the embroidering done.

I actually had a problem with them. I ordered a stethoscope from them. Got the confirmation e-mail and everything, but then it just never came. I'm waithing and waiting and finally I call to find out what's taking so long. Turns out they don't have it in stock. I was given no information at any point prior to that to indicate that it was on backorder. When I called they told me I would certainly get it within a week. Two weeks later I still hadn't gotten it and when I called again they said it was still on backorder. So basically I told them to screw themselves and canceled my order. I went with Redding medical and had my stethoscope within 5 days.

Moral of the story make sure you call these people if you have a problem because they won't call you to tell you there is one.

I've ordered 3 stethoscopes, several pairs of scrubs, and an embroidered lab coat from them and always had good, fast service. Though they did once accidentally send my Mom someone else's order once instead of hers, but they quickly fixed that.

I know that, but is there a joke there? 😵

I have also ordered scrubs, shoes and a stethoscope from them. My stethoscope was on back-order, but they sent me an email notifying me of that. I've been very happy overall, they have great prices, and I agree the scrubs are good quality, nice thick material even on the $10 set! 👍

one thing that annoyed me though, my order came in 2 shipments, the first being like $40 of scrubs and shoes... they would not deliver w/o signature, but then for my second shipment they leave my $150 stethoscope right on my welcome mat... nice... 🙄

What is the latest on this?

They didn't send me a confirmation on squat and they're customer service via email sucks. I did, however, manage to find their customer service phone number. My stuff, after I called them several times, did arrive within two weeks. If you're thinking about ordering a stethoscope, I'd probably go with Redding medical supplies online instead.

I've purchased a few pairs of scrubs and a stethoscope from them and everything went smoothly. No complaints from me.

ditto for me.

2 stethoscopes, BP cuff, scrubs, etc (not all ordered at the same time). No problems. Got oreder confirmation emails.

I ordered some stuff from them about a week ago and have had poor experiences with them. I emailed them some questions about three weeks ago and they never responded to any of them after two weeks. I ordered anyway because they were cheaper than others and I am still waiting for my stuff. They are a pretty crappy company but they can get away with it due to the prices.

I've had great luck with them in the past -- even with their customer service email. (Ordered parts for my stethoscope and they were back ordered and I kept in contact with them about progress.)

We've been going through them for years to get stuff for the campus ambualnce agency, and I've gone through them persoally (CPR supplies and stehoscope) and have never had a problem before.

I ordered some scrubs for me and several other students from Allheart.com on/around July 26th (a >$200 order). I received the confirmation email on 8/1, saying that my order had been processed, and that they would send me a tracking number as soon as my order was shipped. 1 week later, I still had heard nothing. I emailed both Steve Vaca and CustomerService, 1 email per day for 1 week. I heard NOTHING. Not a single response. Finally, one of my classmates found their number (for future reference, it is 805-384-4425). I called them today, and spoke with a rather rude representative. I was not getting any information other than "They may have canceled part of your order," so I asked to speak with a manager.

She was also rather unpleasant, smug, and made up "excuses" for why I had not only not received my order yet, but why I had not gotten a single email in response to mine. I don't care about your lame excuses, you took my money and charged my credit card - you have a responsibility to contact me if something goes wrong! Needless to say, I was livid. In short, what she told me was that their warehouse had just moved, they've been having a lot of problems with filling orders (leading to cancellations - apparently without notification), and that my order had been "re-processed." I have no idea what that means, but demanded that she give me a delivery date. She said that she couldn't give me one today, but she would "call me tomorrow and let me know." If I don't hear anything constructive (or anything at all) by tomorrow, I am cancelling my order.

I do not appreciate rude, smug customer service representatives who act like it's not their problem that you take issue with their company. Furthermore, I find it unacceptable to not respond to the emails of a paying customer. I will NEVER shop at Allheart.com again in the future, and, despite others' alleged past successes, I would strongly advise you to shop elsewhere.

PS if my word isn't enough:
I wish I had known this before I ordered. Most of these reviews are dismal.

Ive had really bad luck with allheart.

-on an order for a Welch Allyn stethoscope, they sent, and billed me for two of them, and did not respond to my emails asking to return one of them.

-on an order for a white coat with customized embroidery, they sent the wrong size, and didnt even embroider it (which was a good thing, so I could send it back).

I ordered a Littman Cardiology III Stethoscope from allheart with my name etched on the tubing. It arrived a week later with...surprise...the name of a totally different person. I called them up and that person had received mine. They agreed to overnight the scopes from our respective homes to each other, so no big deal. A couple of days later, I called asking where my scope was...they had it sent back to them instead of to me so they said I'd have to wait until next week. Okay, I'm pissed at this point and ask if they could at least refund my shipping charges for the messup...nope, can't do that...might be able to refund half, but they gave excuses and ultimately didn't refund anything at all. The next week the scope doesn't arrive. I call them up, they are working on it and said it will arrive later in the week. I just got it yesterday.

Would I order from them again? Probably, they have cheap prices. But you have to stay on top of them, and you might not get your stuff at the time you expect. If you have weeks to wait around for the cheapest prices, then go for it. If you need something on-time, order from Amazon.com.

I ordered a couple of lab coats for my wife, which came promptly. My gripe with them is that, since my order, there has been a constant barrage of spam from them in my email inbox. On principle, they've lost my repeat business.

Oh I've had issues with them about things being out of stock and not contacted about it.

Best thing.. call them up... complain and then ask for an upgrade in shipping. If you get the mean rep, hang up and recall. I got a much nicer person the second time.

if you looked around the website, maybe you could have seen that there is a phone number under Help and Information.

If you had ordered from them a few months ago, maybe you would have known that they did not have their phone number listed on the website, or even on the reciept that came with the package. The phone number was only provided recently.

I had almost exactly the same experience with allheart.

I never recieved my stuff that I ordered from them, also my friend didn't either. I'm guessing its hit and miss.

I had this same experience as well, only they used the "changing warehouses" excuse in Feb 2007.

Based on extremely bad customer service and over 1 month to receive regular items (no special sizes, engravings or embroidery), I would NEVER, EVER order from them again.

I ordered some scrubs for me and several other students from Allheart.com on/around July 26th (a >$200 order).
