I am interested in hearing some honest experiences of students who attended or are currently attending either Ross or SGU. If you have graduated, what is your speciality and how difficult was it to find residencies? If you are a current student, how do you feel about your preparedness during clinical rotations? Do you feel that you are at a true disadvantage than US graduates or is it possible to overcome if you do well? I am waiting to hear from both schools and any aspect of your experience as a student at a Caribbean med school would be helpful...

Thanks!!

If you contact the schools, they provide you contact info for current and former students.

I'm a current student at Ross. I'd say that I like the school. The first semester here is a big weed out. The dropout percentage is probably about 35% for the first semester. But afterwards, I like the program. As I would assume with other schools, Ross has its share of crappy professors along with the really good ones.
