I shouldn't be worrying about this right now, but I was wondering if most practices have a group subscription to ExpertPath. If not, the individual subscription is $899/year... I find it a very handy resource.

Huh what is that? From personal experience, I haven’t ever needed any more than a google search engine.

ExpertPath is easily one of the greatest resources for practicing pathologists. I use it multiple times each day. My hospital pays for our group subscription.

+1
use it everyday as well. Any other sources for exam preparation? Pathprimer seems to have small pool of questions.

I got ExpertPath recently to use up some CME money that was going to expire. It's alright. Similar to pathoutlines, except the pictures are better quality and actually load*. Doubt I'd spend $900 of my own money though. Libre Pathology is another nice site, and free. Best part is it gives sample diagnoses and micro descriptions, which is perfect for those ditzel cases where you're not sure how to phrase something.

* I remember being at a conference where Mark Wick was a speaker. I was like "Hey, it's the guy with the ****ty pathoutlines pics!" Nothing against him as a speaker or pathologist, but it's hilarious how his pics have an attribution and they're always low-res with weird color balance.

I like Mark, he is in the same low key chill category as the guys from UMich (Appleman etc). I may seem to be quite harsh here on this website on academic pathology but there are a TON of awesome folks in it. I appreciate all the good they do and have done on a daily basis.
