Expiration Date on BURS????

Are there expiration dates on Burs??!!I have fallen into a legal problem with the Hospital I work in over this.It seems I have bought Expired Burs for the clinic and now my manager wants to punish me.Someone give me info on this!

AS far as I know, burs only get worn down with usaage,not time. You may want to write to the manufacturer to confirm who needs to be punished!!

I just went and looked at a box of unopened SS White Burs there was a date on the box of Dec13,1999.My understanding is that this is the date of manufacturing not a expiration date? Hope this helps looks to me like they're looking for an excuse to cause you problems.
