So I am in the process of filling out the AADSAS Application and I have a quick question.

I received two failing grades during my freshman year, and was put on an academic probation. I later appealed for both of these to be changed to W's, which the academic committee approved (I had a legitimate reason).

In my explanation of the academic probation on the AADSAS application, do I need to mention that I received the two F's? Or can I just be broad and call it a "poor academic performance"?

Any suggestions, please let me know.... Thanks!

I would be truthful and explain the entire situation. Besides, it may come up at interviews, and if you say something different than you did on the application, it definitely won't look good.
