Do any of you guys know if we can ask for an extension if we got accepted to a school? I got accepted to the first school I interviewed at and although I like it I want to visit the other schools also to decide if that is the right school for me. Does it look bad if we ask for an extension? They only give you 2 weeks to accept or not and you have to pay 250. I really don't want to pay the deposit fee unless I know for sure if that school is where I really want to go. 250 dollars is a lot of money for a post-college student and it's not something I can give up so easily......but it's not for sure i'll get accepted to the other schools I applied to so I think it's best if i ask for an extension. Any advice? Thanks.

Just ask. The worse thing they can do is say no. They realize (or should realize) that you have to make the best decision for you. If they won't grant you an extension, you may want to just pay the deposit. Losing $250 is better than being forced to make a decision you weren't ready for, and regretting it for the next four years.
