For those who have taken the DAT, or anyone somehow affiliated with the Kaplan (and other prep publishers) and recent DAT exams - the Kaplan does not cover much on microbiology - structure, function, mechanisms, etc. I understand that the DAT is more geared toward problem solving, but how much microbiology should be reviewed? Any suggestions on additional sources?

I think the questions that would come from microbiology should be able to be answered from just knowing biology in general.

The only things that you shouldn't already know which may be beneficial are:
Gram negative vs. Gram positive bacteria
cDNA libraries
Polymerase Chain Reaction
Lytic and Lysogenic viral pathways (you should already know this)
