Are externships required in dental school? Or are they optional?

Are externships required in dental school? Or are they optional?

If it's not required then it depends on the school. I would check the curriculum for said schools. So far I know UNE and BU have required externships. I imagine most schools will but the requirements may be different; UNE is gonna send you to the middle of no where, BU has local and international options you can choose from.

Depends on the school. Another school that does it is LECOM(their 4th years, all year long)
