Hi guys,

I was wondering if the extra curricular that you've done say in high school. I've done 2 years of hospital volunteer. Can you even add that to your extra curricular in the pharmacy application? Or is it just strictly what you've done in college? Thanks.

I talked to a few admissions people about this. I was told that if you are applying without a bachelor's degree that high school extracurriculars are ok, or if it was long term and healthcare related with your bachelor's that it was ok.

Bill gates began working on cpomputers at age 12. Michael jordan started playing basketball at age 8. Point is. A strong passion for a field of work does have to start in college. Dont limit yourself to college. Just because your experiences in healthcare began early on in HS does not mean they are not relevant to your passion for pursing the field Good luck

Highschool healthcare related - yes. If not healthcare-related then I wouldn't bother.
