I was wondering what kind of extra loans people were taking out for interviews. I've heard many take out anywhere from 3-10 thousand extra. I'm aware of Sallie Mae loans and other residency relocation loans and was just wondering if anyone did this or knew of any with the lowest interest rates. Please let me know as I am hoping not to be in debt until the age of 80.

The rates will depend on ur creditworthiness and for some lenders, whether u have a cosigner or not and their creditworthiness ..

these are some of the main playes:

Also remember that within a 30 day period, u can apply to multiple lenders as u want (to rate shop) and it will only count as 1 hard credit check on ur credit report. In other words, u don't get penalized, credit score-wise, for rate shopping, so u might as well do so and get the best terms.
