Describe your non-scribing clinical volunteering experience.

Have you asked the admissions recruiters at the schools near the top of your list about whether scribing can act as a proxy for shadowing? You definitely need primary care experience.

Volunteered in a different number of hospital departments. pediatrics, orthopedics, oncology. Mainly just asking patients if they need any entertainment/snacks and restocking supplies.

Thank you so much for all the responses. What does kaiser look for in applicants, I can't really find any information on preferences, and why delete Virginia Tech? Again thank you!

Va Tech favors people from that region.

Kaiser? Too small and quirky, but given the free ride for M1, and the surplus of overqualified Californians, I feel it's not competitive for non-Californians.
