I'm coming to the end of my first year and I was planning on getting a cheap, used copy of FA 2015. I'm not planning on using it to pre-study second year material. I'm just looking to do a little review of first year material (particularly anything I had a little trouble with) over the summer before second year starts. Would the 2015 version be fine for this? I don't want to buy a new 2016 copy and I'd imagine the 2015 one would be okay if I'm just doing a little reviewing, but I wanted to see if any of you thought 2015 was particularly bad.

Would it also be fine to use 2015 during the fall and then get the 2017 version when it comes out in winter? Should I just go for it and get a 2016 copy now? Any comments are appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I don't recommend doing anything involving First Aid over the summer but, if you must, then I think 2015 version is fine. 2016 has some new stuff added in but it's nothing really crucial and you'll forget it anyways, like you'll forget everything you'll learn from FA this summer should you choose to go down this path.

Do yourself a favor and DON'T spend another $45 or whatever the cost is now just for your review over the summer. The differences between 15 and 16 are not big at all. I should know; before I decided to use 16, I hand-wrote the additional material from a 16 pdf to 15 while doing my first pass. If you end up buying 16, you'll eventually have to buy 17 as well...so just stick with 15.
