So I have attended 4 interviews and have been placed on the wait-list at all of these schools. Two schools wait-listed me who don't have interviews. Recently I realized that there is some profanity on my facebook page.....could this have anything to do with it? or am I over thinking this......

Do you really think that A) they have enough time to stalk over 200 people on Facebook or 2) a few curse words will keep you from a spot in a program?? At an interview that I went to, they basically told us that that doesn't matter, unless it turned into a legal matter. To quote, "we were young once, we all did keg stands. We don't care that you do them as long as you are professional in class and when representing the university at functions/clinicals." You are way over thinking this lol.

Haha, agreed.

I just cannot understand why I've been wait-listed at 6 schools. I mean my grades aren't great, which obviously has a lot to do with it, but I just feel like if this many schools considered me, then why hasn't 1 accepted? and I honestly walked out of every interview feeling awesome.

What is your GPA and GRE?

They invite a lot more people for interviews than they have spaces. I know when I interviewed at Wheeling I think they had 150 people there to interview for only like 50 spots, so that is a big discrepancy in who is qualified enough to be invited vs who is qualified to be accepted. Look on the bright side: at least you were qualified enough to even be accepted to the interview and be waitlisted, so a spot might open up soon.

Yes, you are absolutely correct, but unfortunately that is not a bright side to me haha. My PTCAS Cum: 3.12 PTCAS Prereq: 3.37. GRE: 151 V 148 Q, 4.0 AW. Still have a few schools to hear back from but it isn't looking good.

Off topic: how did you like the problem based program at wheeling? And did you end up getting accepted?
I also went for an interview there: they said they are having total :220 (on campus &'phone interview) competing for 54 seats!!
I got an acceptance e-mail from them the other day, and I'm seriously considering attending, but just wanted to get another student perspective about their programs !!

Yes I was accepted, but I am still waiting to hear back from some other schools before i make a decision. I was pretty impressed by the program and there were definitely some things I liked about it. I did problem based learning for physics and I enjoyed that approach, though I don't know how well it would work with physical therapy.

Thank you for your input! I appreciate it!! Maybe I will see you there if you end up deciding on wheeling !
