Faculty meeting list for interview

Hello,
I have been able to get invites for some IM PSTP but am now asked to submit a list of faculty members I would like to meet during my visit. Should those faculty be in the Department of Medicine or are also other departments fair game (might align better with my research interests and have already some contacts there)? In case of bigger hospital systems like MGH are the other branches also possible?

(Or can I just ask the PD? I am an IMG so not sure about how stupid that question is)

You can and definitely should have research mentors outside your department.

Thanks for your reply! So already at the interview stage? I know that the actual research mentor can be from a different department but can a neuroscientist judge my competence for internal medicine pstp?
