FAFSA pros/cons?

I had FAFSA throughout college, I honestly don't see any cons but I'll list a pro from my specific experience.

1. Money from the government to help pay for books, transportation etc. and really give a boost to your financial ability to study.
I'm referring specifically to the ones you don't have to pay back, it might vary in your case depending on your household income and dependent status etc. and if you are taking out loans and whatnot.
