I dropped an Anatomy class this semester and I will end up with W.
but I will re-take it next semester and let's assume that i got either A or B on that class. then my previous W means fail to complete a planned course even though i retake it and complete that course ?
I asked this question to my In-state school admission director, and he said i am perfectly okay with dropping a class.
But, an interview e-mail from Tufts said "Failure to complete planned coursework may result in the withdrawal of any decision by the Admissions Committee (including acceptance, acceptance to the wait list, merit scholarship award, etc). "
anyone has same experience as me ? (dropped planned course listed on the AADSAS site then re-take it )
thanks

It's fine to withdraw from a course and retake it later (as long as you retake it before you matriculate into dental school. Dental schools don't want you to put that your taking advanced particle physics, graduate level genetics only to make your application look good and then when you get accepted, you drop all those courses.

I was planning to take ceramics, but could not due to conflict in class schedule
would that be a problem? must it be exactly the same for tufts?
