Advice and answers needed....... help.
My goal is to become an FM physician. I'm only applying to aoa fm residency programs with my priority being location... i do not want to relocate my spouse and children and be far away from my elderly parents. unfortunately, i failed comlex 2 the first time. i'm scheduled for a retake next week. i am so burnt out and cannot seem to find that same energy i had when i was OMS1, 2, and 3. I know this is dangerous. i want to do well but my mind is very foggy-brained. i have subscriptions to DIT videos, comquest, combank, and comsae exams. How should i split my time (10 days left to cram)? Should I do comsae or would that be a waste of time? should I postpone my test?

You are missing so much info in your post that it's quite difficult to give you advice. What was your initial score? How long ago since you took level 2 and what have you been studying since the failure? Have you taken a Comsae since the failure? Many unanswered things needed to help you but my gut is telling me to have you postpone the test. You still have a few months you could use to study but you need to have your score back prior to rank list being submitted. I also hope your PE is complete and passed.

We really need to know your initial score to know how much you failed or not. If you missed the cut-off by a couple of points, then there may be some of home of cramming for 10 days (assuming you haven't started studying yet since you last took it). However, if the failure was significant then you really should give yourself more time. A second failure will look REALLY bad to residencies. Furthermore, if you fail 3 times, many schools will dismiss you and many states won't license you. So you really need to make sure you can take it and pass this time, as you definitely don't want to fail it a second time. I know someone who has failed multiple times and is very stressed and traumatized over the likelihood of being dismissed, and I don't want to see others go through this also. So please don't take it again until you feel certain of getting a solid score - I'd probably wait until you were hitting at least 500 on COMSAEs before even thinking about a re-take of the COMLEX.
