Failed Comlex 2 Twice...any Advice?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Hey, I am sorry! I know that nothing anyone says can make you feel better, and that you probably feel horrible right now. I went thru the exact thing. 1st time, I had a gallstone attack and threw up during the exam, 2nd time I totally psyched myself out and freaked. Anyway, what I did to FINALLY pass was simple: I studied the USMLE step2 (1st Aid), Crush the Boards, and Prescription for the boards (variety is the spice of life). Then, I took as many exams and answered as many questions as I possibly could (over 2000). Basically, I ate, drank, and slept the boards for three whole weeks, and took my darn time on the exam day (7 hours compared to my initial 5). Honestly, I have to say that doing the questions was what helped me the most. By the actual exam, I was so used to the Q&A format that it just came naturally. Incidentally, I scored 120 pts over my original exam. Just take a deep breath, make up your mind hat you will do what you have to do to pass this time, and get a comfortable chair! Good luck!

Just found out I failed the Comlex 2 (computer/written/CE) again...

Any advice? I just missed it by a few points both times...

thanks

Whatever you do...change your study patterns. Whatever you're doing isn't working. Good luck!

What questions did you use? USMLEworld

What do you think has been the biggest hurdle for you-
Do you not have enough time to finish the exam? Any particluar area which you are weak (eg, OB/GYN)? Other personal committments?

I think if you can pinpoint what's been your biggest stumbling block, its correction will yield those few extra points you're searching for.

Best of luck!
