Well, I'm new here. But I thought I needed to vent somewhere. I got a 71 on the MD MPJE. I'm not feeling so good right now. I know that I now have to wait 30 days before I can take the thing again, is it 30 days after the examination or when I get the results back?

Again, I feel really bummed. Passing the NAPLEX really gave me some joy, but I'm not so swank with the law. For those who took the MPJE in MD, how did you study, and what did you study from? I used the Maryland Law book from the Maryland Pharmacists Association.

Did you not use any book for federal law or pharmacy exam's MD law material (costs 50.00). I need to take this exam in a month. One of my friends who cleared this used these materials along with the MD law book. I am planning to use these three sources. Also did you read MD board's website - we need to read it completely. It is of help, I was told.

Hope this helps you in your preparation.

I didn't use a federal law book, but I do plan on getting one now. Can you post a link for the pharmacy exam's MD law material (at least where to get it)?

You need to a lot of federal question practice after reading any book which will make u confident . Did you try prempje ? Try one test is free too.

Hey Phantom Wizard,
Yeah I just took the MPJE here in TN and I actually made a 71 as well. 🙁 The extremely sad thing is that I had ordered these pronto pass cards for federal and state laws and never even picked them up at the post office till I found out today, thinking that I could pass the MPJE without using them. Worst mistake of my LIFE...I was going to offer you my condolences (and complete sympathy, as well as encouragement) BUT to also ask you if you or anyone else you know have used the prontopass cards to study for the MPJE? I had used them to study for the math portion of the NAPLEX, and they were the best studying tools ever. They also seem to make studying a lot less dull and easier.
I was also wondering if work experience in that month you have to used to study before you take the law exam will help as well, or do you need to devote ALL your time to studying? I just don't know if just sticking your head in a book all day is going to help, since now we know how much this exam is so "situation based"..My boss is not giving me any more hours until I pass this thing but the thing is, and I don't know if it be easier to pass if I get to see all these pharmacy laws applied firsthand? Or does it not even matter??
Best of luck to you!! You can do it!!

The previous posts were back in 2009 FYI. I used pharmacyexam.com and the MPhA book and I found it helpful / easy to read for the Maryland MPJE. Good luck!
