failed part 1 with a 74 score!!

So I failed part 1 with a 74 score and now feeling very hopeless and lost. I am wondering now do I have a chance to get into any residency program (GPRs, AEGD) if I pass it in the second attempt? As far as I know all your scores get forwarded to programs that you apply to, so they would find out about my failing score from the first attempt.

I failed my boards first time around to. Don't worry it's not the end of the world. I have been successful as a dentist. Just study harder.

Some AEGD and GPR won't care as much as specialty residency. It really depends. If its a top program, then you have a low chance. Other then that, don't stress it

just retake the test and pass, you still can be a successful dentist. Sadly your ortho or OMS chance might have passed though. Endo, perio and ped probably are still ok
