If you were rejected from all the dental schools applied, due to low DAT score, what could you do? Could you spend an entire year working for money / volunteering, job shadowing at a dental office and retake the DAT exam and apply for the following year?

Oh and if you wait a year to apply again, what do you do about LOR's? Do you get new ones or re use the old ones?

Yes.

You can re-use or get new ones.

While you can use the same LOR as you did in the last cycle...you have to RE-SUBMIT them to ADEA...they trash all old files and do not keep anything even if you tell them you are re-applying. Each cycle is brand new to them...so while each school may recognize you as a re-applicant, AADSAS simply sees you as a person who is applying for the first time even if you happen to have the same first and last name, email, etc. of a person who applied in a previous year.
