Status: A graduate student who is working hard to build his application in order to apply in the future.
Problem: Fail the final exams in two classes within one night.
Looking for anyone(experts) who knows how to solve this type of problems...
[Thursday]
Tonight there was something wrong with my brain. I had two final exams tonight. I submitted them without any response. When I realized, it was all over. I am trying to send letters to both profesors in order to retake the final... Before the exam, I have received an A in each class. However, if I can't retake the exam, I will reveive 66% which is a D in both classes. This is the way below the min of the graduate student requirement. So I hope everything will be fine tomorrow.
[Friday]
Because of the professor's generosity, I retook one final exam this afternoon but in different version. The other final is scheduled on Tuesday at noon. I still could not do well this afternoon. I think maybe something is really wrong with me...Think about this, a person got 100 and 90 for the first exam and midterm and fail the final, can anyone believe that? If I really get zero in my final, my grade will be 190/3=66%, which will be a "D". That really sucks.
I try to find some reasons to convince myself that my failure of the final is because of the deficiency of the study, not because of the mental problem. I really think it's true because after the midterm I was so confident that I will get A+ in both classes and started to concentrate on other subjects that I have troubles with...I even ignored doing the homework of those two class...
Anyway, be honest with you, if the reason is because of the deficiency of study, then this lesson tells me that I should insist of everything that I am processing until the last minutes or until I get it for sure, don't ever assume that it's necessarily to be mine. There might be a accident happened like this. But if the reason is because of the mental problem, I will probably go to see a doctor though.
Any comments? I appreciate it!
