Can you believe this?!? Today I was at the Dentist's office that I'm shadowing at and was watching a routine procedure when you guessed it--I fainted. I was standing there and all of a sudden I got real hot, then I was being sat up by the hygenist. I was sooo embarrassed, but everyone was really nice about it. Everyone just went about their day as though it had never happened. Just another reason I want to be in this field--everyone is just so damn nice!

The Dr. was removing a crown and putting in a temp..

Why did you faint over a crown prep? It's nothing invasive.
Was anything in particular scared you?

I didn't faint cuz of what I saw, I fainted because I didn't get too much sleep, woke up early, didn't eat, and with that damn mask on I got real hot and was taken in all that used air. It wasn't what I saw it was just the combination of conditions
