since most schools have their decisions made by dec 1st, what is the chance of a school using fall senior year semester grades to accept you or not? i know for a fact that before you matriculate upon acceptance, they will look at your fall and spring just to make sure you did satisfactory.

that is exactly why I didn't get in last year. I had 3.5 GPA, AA:20 PAT:20 TS:20 in DAT and all the extra credit and research and shadowing you can imagine. but i interviewed after December because i just couldn't go before even though i got the interview invites in september. I didn't get in because my fall grades went down. I asked the schools and that is why I didn't get in. so here is your answer it could matter a lot if your interview is after december but if U get an acceptence before december then unless you fail the fall term you'll be ok.

any more advice? I am working hard but 20 credits kills you especially when you start going for interviews.

I believe if you have an interview after your fall semester, they are more likely to ask your new transcript. I know Upeen and U of washington do that.

I went from a 3.5 to about a 3.3 and my science from 3.3 to 3.2.

Yeah, I have been waiting for Ramforte's reply, too. Do you mind if I ask you what GPA you got during the senior fall semester?? it's bc I feel like I am going to get 'C' in Genetics.

I haven't heard from schools lately. Maybe they are waiting to see my fall semester grades???
