Hi Everyone,

Does anyone have the 2008-2009 version of the Insider's Guide to Clinical and Counseling Psychology Grad Programs? If so, would you mind checking to see if it lists West Virginia University clinical psych as having a professor interested in suicide? Sadly they don't have a recent copy of the book in the bookstore and I am trying to avoid buying the book to find the answer. Thank you so much in advance!

Yup, it lists that there is 1 faculty member interested in suicide. Hope this helps!

Ooh, I never knew you researched suicide specifically in elderly populations. Fascinating! I've heard that's a huge problem.

Thanks for the website compliment, I appreciate it 🙂. It is a great research area; the research is very needed although there are always some who view it as being morbid.

If anyone is interested in suicide research, it is a great lab and we are almost surely accepting a student next year!
