Now that we should all have gotten our scores... how did everyone do?
I did worse than I hoped.... especially because I made a dumb mistake--
I forgot there were 50 questions in the reading section and I didnt see the last two pages (9 questions) :scared:
and I didnt have time to smooth out my carving🙁

But here are my scores, and I dont know if i should do a retake because if i do I would have to take it during school (november Canadian DAT-cuz i dont think i can stare at the computer for 5 hours for american DAT) and i have some hard classes next semester...

RC 19 (which I was surprised since i didnt do 9 questions)
Bio 16
Chem 17
TS 17
AA 17
PA 21
Carving 19

I know its not a competitive score...
btw my GPA is about 3.85 after taking 15-19 credits (full time student) every semester
(1st yr- 12 courses
2nd yr- 12 courses
summer- 2 courses
3rd yr- 11 courses)
what do you guys think? and how did yall do?

it really depends on your GPA and where you wanna get into. If you are going for canadian dental school, then I would suggest retaking the test and try to get 20+. However, even for some of the lower tier american schools your 17AA is a bit on low side.

Just retake it. I didn't do so well my first time around, but when I took it the second time I ended up doing much better!
What did you use to study?
I'd suggest DAT Destroyer to boost the chem, Kaplan Bio was good enough (some of the questions on the Canadian DAT for bio are pretty tough, read an MCAT bio prep book or a bio book specifically for that section), reading comp you did pretty well in considering you missed the last 9 questions, just work on your timing (maybe purchase Topscore or something to practice that) and props to you and your solid carving and PAT scores 👍
