Hey guys, I hope you will be able to help me out. :xf:

Situation: I need to take the January 30th, 2010 MCAT which I can register for on Nov. 2nd, 2009 up until Jan. 22, 2010.

  • Is it possible to get FAP to pay for this 2010 exam if I register for it in Nov. 2009? Do I use the tax report from 2008? 😕
  • If not, will filling out the FAP on Jan. 5th 2010 cause me to be late for the registration deadline on the 22nd? Do I use the tax report from 2008 or 2009? 😕

Thanks in advance for your help! 😍

If you fill out the FAP now and have it in..come November you are able to register for the January MCAT with the reduced fees. I was able to do that last year. If you read the benefits/instructions/whatever you wanna call it on the FAP website it says that you are allowed to register for any MCAT during the FAP year. Register for 2010 MCAT in 2009 you are good.

Like a few days in January, the new 2010 FAP comes out and you are able to fill it out but it takes a few weeks to verify AND THEN the January MCAT dates might all be fill by then.

Hope that helps!

And yes if you fill it out in 2009 you use 2008 Tax Report.

For the MCAT..$85 and for AMCAS its free for you to apply for 13 schools..and the rest you will be charged for.

^And free secondaries... which could easily sum up to $2000.
