Fee assistance program (fap) max limit?

I applied to FAP in 2014 and received the benefit for 2 years. If I apply again this year (2017), would that be considered 2 or 3 "rewards"? Just wondering because according to AAMC "You may be awarded fee assistance a maximum of five (5) times during your lifetime." But I didn't even ask to receive the award in 2015..

I'm just wondering how many of the 5 I have left as I only submitted the application once.

No, just wondering how many attempts I have so far. I do plan on reapplying if need be tho.
