I've heard that there is a $30 fee to send out DAT scores to schools you hadn't listed at the time you took your DAT. I'm scheduled to take the DAT mid-July, but when I registered for it I had only thought of a short list of schools and my school list now is probably significantly different. Can I contact ADA to change the school designations I want the DAT scores sent to before I take the DAT and avoid the fee? Or is it less of a fee to designate before you take the test, or something like the first 5 schools are free and a fee for each individual school after that?

I just want to make sure I get it right so I don't end up paying money I didn't need to. Thanks for help in advance

As I understand it, as long as you selected one school that participates in AADSAS (which almost all of them do) then the schools you apply to will receive your DAT scores with your application.

For instance, I decided to apply to Creighton after I registered for my DAT and had not selected it when I paid. I e-mailed Creighton to see if I needed my DAT scores sent directly to them or if the scores from AADSAS would be sufficient and they said the scores with my application were sufficient. So, if you have any doubts just e-mail the schools you are applying to and see if this is the case with them as well.

Yeah. Apparently they changed the system recently. You don't have to select schools to receive your scores; they will automatically receive them through your app.
