Hey,

Just wondering if anyone had received feedback after rank lists were due. I just got a call from one of the New York programs stating they were calling their top-ranked applicants and wanted to let me know I was being ranked to match. Because I had not heard from this program, I figured they weren't going to show me any love and ranked them a little lower than I would have otherwise. Seems a little late to be calling applicants. Just wondering if anyone else had an experience like this, and are still receiving feedback from programs even though we've already submitted our lists?

i think its actually less ethical to contact someone now than it would have been two weeks ago.

No offense, but ranking them a little lower just because they didn't call you seems like a pretty poorly thought out move. That is, unless you thought they weren't a friendly program since they didn't contact you. I ranked my favorite programs higher, whether they contacted me or not. Why should it make any difference?

I only Ranked the program I really wanted to go to. If they don't want me, I'll scramble.
